Limited Warranty

Larand Inc. (“Larand”) warrants to the original consumer purchaser that Larand products will be free from defective materials or workmanship, if used for personal, family or household purposes, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

If any Larand product is placed in commercial or business use, it will be warranted, to the original consumer purchaser only, to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase.

This warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident or unreasonable use, improper installation, neglect, improper service, unauthorized repairs or alterations, or other cause not arising out of defects in material or workmanship.

During the warranty period, the original consumer purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy for breach of warranty, and Larand’s sole and exclusive obligation, shall be the repair or replacement of the defective part or parts. Any claim against this warranty must be in writing within the warranty period, including proof of original purchase with date. The product will either be repaired or it will be replaced with a like product, at Larand’s option, when returned postage prepaid and insured to Larand. Acceptance by Larand of any product returned shall not be deemed an admission that the product is in violation of its warranty. Products that are replaced become the property of Larand.

This warranty is Larand’s only expressed warranty of these products. No implied warranty including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall be extended beyond the warranty period. Larand shall not be liable for any other damages, for loss of use of any of its products, nor for any other incidental or consequential damages, costs, or expenses incurred by the original purchaser or by any other person, firm or corporation. No person is authorized to change, add to, or create any warranty or obligation between Larand and the purchaser other than set forth herein.

Some states in the USA do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other legal rights which vary from state to state in the USA.
